Join us for our first cleaning of the 2026 season! This season we are structuring the cleanings so that we can set and repair broken stones as well as clean stones.
Saturday, May 30th, 10am-Noon: General Cleaning
General gravestone cleaning will provide guidance on how to do basic cleaning and care of gravestones, from the tools used to best practices for techniques. This includes basic information about the types of stones and why that matters. All supplies are provide, but you may want to bring work gloves. Please note that there are no bathrooms onsite. Please dress appropriately for the weather and in clothes that are okay getting wet and a bit dirty. Also no open toed shoes.
Registration is not required, but signing up with this form will help us prepare for the amount of supplies we need.
Meet up at the front gates of the cemetery at 192 Summer Street, Lewiston.
