After 30 years as a songwriter, Joanne Stato is releasing her first album of original music, Talking to Myself. “It contains 14 songs, most of them written by me for piano and voice.” She lives in Baltimore, where she is a member of the Baltimore Songwriters Association. “House concerts are very popular here — small, friendly acoustic gatherings where you can really hear the performance. My album has been recorded and produced by Baltimore native John Seay, and I sing three of his original compositions as well.” Contact Joanne at jstato@yahoo.com for info about the CD. “I will be happy to hear from everyone.”… Flutist Steve Tapper teaches at South Shore Solomon Schecter Day School, and his specialty is Jewish and Brazilian music.
