Campaign materials help to form From Rumford to Washington: Edmund S. Muskie’s Life in Photographs, an ongoing exhibition at the Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library that also features seldom-seen family and Bates photos. He was an institution, says exhibit curator Christie Peterson, “and many people were part of that institution.”
