New York City Summer Welcome Reception
We invite incoming Bates families and their students from the Manhattan area to join us for a gathering to meet and make connections with each other. Get to know your fellow Bobcats, hear from a current Bates family, and expand your Bates network.
This event is hosted by a Class of 1993 and 2027 family.

What to expect:
- This is an informal meet-and-greet for both family members and incoming Bates students. Refreshments will be provided. Dress code is casual.
- If family members cannot attend, students are still encouraged to register and attend so they can connect with their fellow Bobcats. If a student cannot attend, their parents and support networks are welcome to attend and meet other Bates families.
- While college staff will be present to help greet incoming families, this casual networking gathering will not include a formal presentation or information session.
