About
Frank Chessa, Ph.D., HEC-C, is Director of Clinical Ethics at MaineHealth-Maine Medical Center and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Tufts University. He is the Ethics Curriculum Director for Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM) and Course Director for two preclinical and one clinical course at TUSM. He is the Principal Investigator for the study Increasing Clinical Trial Utilization and Enrollment of Non-English Speaking Research Subjects: A Revised Pathway (FDA, FAIN U01FD008261) and Co-leads the Community Engagement, Bioethics and Outreach Core, of the Center of Biomedical Research Excellence in Acute Care Research and Rural Disparities (NIH, FAIN P20GM139745). He is Vice-Chair of the MaineHealth Institutional Review Board. He also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for Piper Shores (a not-for-profit, elder care community) in Scarborough, Maine.
