Reunion Volunteers
Reunion volunteers make Reunion Weekend happen. They take the lead in building attendance, generating enthusiasm, and fundraising during their milestone year.
Your leadership role is vital to your class and to the college’s future. By planning a celebration that is full of fun and friends — and by asking your classmates to support Bates as part of your Reunion celebration — you send the message that Bates is an important priority. We’re grateful for your time and energy during this special year.
We hope you find these resources provided helpful. Please contact your staff liaison – listed below – with any questions.

Class Notes
Bates College collaborates with class officers twice a year to collect news from alumni. Volunteers encourage classmates to share news via form submission. The news is then shared with the Bates Magazine for the class notes section.
Some class officers may want to use the news items to create a class newsletter. In this case, Bates asks class officers to contact the Office of Alumni Engagement. Bates will provide any collected news items and collaborate with you to develop and send the class newsletters. For all newsletters, please expect a 2-3 week turnaround time.
The two deadlines for class note submissions are August 1 and January 2.
