The entire Bates community is always welcomed and encouraged to use the Ronj space during their regular hours. Please contact ronj@bates.edu if you want to reserve a space in advance for a group meeting, or to book a student show.

In order to use the Ronj space outside of regular hours, please note our following policy:

• Student, Faculty and Staff groups who would like to use the Ronj outside of regular hours are welcome to do so on a first come, first serve basis.
• In general, events/meetings outside of regular hours for students should not exceed 2 hours or 3 hours for Faculty/Staff groups
• If you would like a Ronj server available during the time of your event/meeting outside our regular operation hours, you must let us know the particular time you would like covered. If we can find coverage, we will charge you the hourly wage ($15.1 / hr) for each Ronj server that is working the event in addition to the cost of the drinks.
  • The typical expectation for Ronj Servers is that they be in the Ronj ten minutes before opening hours. As such, if you would like access prior to the 10 minutes before opening hours, please reach out to Ronj@bates.edu. While we cannot guarantee a Ronj Server will be available to open early, if we are able to find someone we will charge you the proportional hourly wage for the time.
• All groups using the space are responsible for cleaning up after themselves. That is, all furniture should be returned to the original configuration and all trash are put away.
• Groups will be responsible for any costs related to damage of property that may occur during the meeting/event time.
