Mark D. Mandel is Vice Chair, Senior Managing Director, Partner, and Equity Portfolio Manager on Wellington Management’s Global Stewards Team. Global Stewards is a concentrated ESG investment strategy that aims to invest responsibly in high-return companies with leading corporate stewardship over an extended time horizon.
In addition, Mark is a member of the firm’s Compensation Committee, Diversity Committee, Hedge Fund Review Group, Investment Strategy Advisory Committee, and Incentive Compensation Committee. He is an ad hoc member of the Investment Stewardship and Research Services Governance Committees.
Mark joined Wellington in 1994 as a global industry analyst covering the nonbank financial services sector. He also served as director of Global Industry Research for 15 years. Prior to joining Wellington, he worked in the corporate finance group of Advest, Inc., a Hartford-based brokerage firm.
Mark earned his M.B.A. from Dartmouth College (Tuck) and his B.A. in economics from Bates College. He is a member of the CFA Institute, and he serves on the Board of Trustees at Bates College, Tuck’s MBA Council, and the SII Advisory Board.
