Mark D. Mandel is Vice Chair and Equity Portfolio Manager on Wellington Management’s Global Stewards Team. Global Stewards is a concentrated ESG investment strategy that aims to invest responsibly in high-return companies with leading corporate stewardship over an extended time horizon.

Mark joined Wellington in 1994 as a global industry analyst covering the nonbank financial services sector. He also served as director of Global Industry Research for 15 years. Prior to joining Wellington, he worked in the corporate finance group of Advest, Inc., a Hartford-based brokerage firm.

Mark earned his M.B.A. from Dartmouth College (Tuck) and his B.A. in economics from Bates College. He recently was awarded the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting credential from the SASB. He is a member of the CFA Institute and a Trustee at Bates College, and serves on the Strategic Investor Initiative Advisory Board.
