50th Reunion: Volunteer Opportunities

Make Your 50th Your Best Bates Reunion

The 50th Reunion would not be possible without volunteers. During this milestone year, alumni take the lead in building attendance, generating enthusiasm and connections, and fundraising. Past 50th Reunion volunteers always share how much they enjoy reconnecting with classmates through this important volunteer work.

Whether you’ve been to every Bates reunion or none of them, you are a part of making our 50th a special celebration.

There are multiple ways to volunteer:

  • Gift Committee: Help your class leave a memorable legacy for Bates in celebration of this Reunion milestone. Learn how you can make an impact on the Gift Committee or contact Casey Andersen ’12 at randerse@bates.edu.
  • Social Committee: Plan 50th events, select a class parade memento, and encourage classmates to attend. Dive deeper into the exciting work of the Gift Committee or contact Carly Hopkins at chopkins@bates.edu.
  • Yearbook Committee: Encourage classmates to submit bios and memories for the 50th Reunion Yearbook, and curate photos and memories to include in special sections. Find out how get involved with the Yearbook Committee or contact Carly Hopkins at chopkins@bates.edu.
