Student Employment Office

This student will catalog and organize costumes (maybe sew) and assist with program and publicity information prior to dance concerts in October and March for the Bates Dance Company and other times when there are guest artists. The Dance Assistant will also catalog and cue (number) dance videotapes, and any other jobs related to the dance program.

The Dance Company Manager is enrolled in DANC 253 for Winter 2024 and serves current member of the Bates Dance Company who serves as a host for our artists-in-residence, and assists the Artistic Director of the Marcy Plavin Spring Dance Concert, Tristan Koepke, with logistics manager, communications and scheduling.

Assisting in audio and video for performances, rehearsals, documentation.  Knowledge of music, dance, and a variety of media management software is helpful.
