This student is responsible for the maintenance of the department’s mineral collection. Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Organize the mineral and rock collection, which requires the sorting and labeling of specimens already in the drawers Go through the boxes of “donated” materials, adding some to the display collection, some to the teaching collection, and disposing of the rest Maintain the display cabinets in the mezzanine area
