METAMORPHOSES by Mary Zimmerman
305 College Street
Lewiston, ME 04240
Based on the Myths of Ovid
Written and originally directed by Mary Zimmerman
Directed by Sally Wood
We are excited to share that our performances of Metamorphoses, based on the myths of Ovid, written and orginally directed by Mary Zimmerman, are all sold out! We will have a waitlist at the door for guests who were not able to get a ticket and hope to still see the show. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the show to sign up for the waitlist.
As a result, ticket holders should arrive at the theater at least ten minutes before the scheduled start of the show. Five minutes before the show starts, we will release all tickets that haven’t been checked in, and start letting in people on the waitlist.
If you arrive late, please be aware that your ticket may be given away and that we might not have a seat for you.
Mary Zimmerman reanimates Ovid’s tales with stunning visual life. Set in and around a large pool of water onstage, this ensemble piece juxtaposes the ancient and the contemporary in both language and image to reflect the variety and persistence of narrative in the face of inevitable change.
