Parents Leadership Giving

Please consider joining an engaged community of Bates’ most committed supporters: the Mount David Society. MDS recognizes donors who make the college a philanthropic priority with annual gifts of $2,500 or more. Leadership-level giving from parents ensures that Bates students receive a best-in-class liberal arts experience with faculty who are leading experts in their fields. In honor of their generosity, MDS members receive special opportunities to network with other leadership donors as well as Bates leaders, both on campus and at regional gatherings.

“We are grateful that our children have had the opportunity to be part of a community that is committed not only to welcoming and supporting students, but also to positioning them for transformative leadership and success. Even as new momentum takes hold with the arrival of President Jenkins, the core of what makes Bates special remains. We believe in the values of Bates, which is why each year, we invest in the college with a gift to the Bates Parents Fund and why I choose to dedicate my time and energy as a volunteer. We are looking forward to watching from afar as new parents emerge to support this new chapter for Bates.”
