The following is a list of goals that Bates Mathematics has for its students. Check the box next to each goal that you believe you have learned and/or improved upon during your senior capstone experience (thesis or seminar).
Taking initiative finding things out on your own, such as learning new mathematics or looking up sources.
Reading mathematics critically and analyzing what is known and unknown.
Recognizing patterns and connections between mathematical subjects, or between mathematics and other subjects.
