Karina Rosliakova

I graduated from the Khakass State University in 2019 and hold a master’s degree in Linguistics.
Since graduation, I have been teaching English as a foreign language to different age groups and at various levels of proficiency. Teaching inspires me as I get to learn about my students’ interests and passions, build meaningful relationships, and broaden my perspectives.

Most of my free time I spend outdoors exploring the beautiful Siberian nature. I like to keep active and enjoy hiking, snowboarding in winter, and playing tennis in summer. I also love singing, reading, and practicing yoga. I am always open to new experiences and ready to try new things.

My goal for the upcoming academic year at Bates is to support all students pursuing courses in Russian language and share my knowledge of Russian culture. I am excited to participate in various events and activities in which students will showcase their creativity, talents, and practice their Russian.
