Pianist DIANE WALSH, whose many awards include the top prizes at the Munich ARD Competition and the Salzburg Mozart Competition, has performed concertos, solo recitals and chamber music concerts worldwide. She has appeared with the Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Berlin radio sym-phonies, the American, Indianapolis, Austin, Delaware, Syracuse, San Francisco and Portland symphonies, and Orpheus, St. Luke’s and Prague Virtuosi chamber orchestras. She has played in major venues in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Russia, China and New Zealand, and has made chamber music festival appearances at Marlboro, Santa Fe, Bard and many others. Ms. Walsh played 113 performances of Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations during the Broadway production of “33 Variations,” a play by Moisés Kaufman, starring Jane Fonda. She has released eighteen recordings of repertoire ranging from J.S. Bach to John Corigliano. Ms. Walsh holds degrees from the Juilliard School and the Mannes School of Music. She was Associate Professor at Mannes (ret.), has been a Visiting Artist at Colby and Vassar, and is a Steinway Artist.
