In the community Charlie has been a board member at the Central Lincoln County YMCA and board member and chairman of the Nobleboro School board. His teaching and administrative experience have taken place in the Hull Public Schools in MA, the Linsly School in Wheeling, WV, and McDonogh School in Owings Mills, MD. He now resides year round at Kieve with his wife Annie.Kieve Wavus Education is a nonprofit organization that helps people grow through experiential programs led by inspirational role models.Located on Damariscotta Lake in rural Midcoast Maine, KWE runs three primary programs across two main campuses: Camp Kieve for Boys, Wavus Camp for Girls and The Leadership School. In addition, KWE hosts a variety of retreats for a diverse set of groups throughout the year. All KWE programs promote the values of kindness and respect that empower people to contribute positively to society.
