Bates College offers premium pay over and above one’s regular hourly wage.
Some Premium Pay categories (e.g. Shift Differential) are duty specific and all employees may not be eligible. If you have questions as to whether your position is eligible, please contact your Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
Overtime compensation is paid to all nonexempt employees for all hours worked over 40 per week (Sunday through Saturday) in accordance with federal and state wage and hour guidelines.
