Summary

Are you interested in higher education fundraising? We are looking for a responsible, efficient student who can work well independently. Excellent attention to detail—including neat handwriting—is essential. In this role, you will support key fundraising initiatives and may have the chance to connect directly with alumni donors.

The Gift Planning Stewardship Intern will handwrite thank-you notes to Phillips Society members. The Phillips Society recognizes Bates alumni, parents, and friends who plan to provide legacy gifts to the college through an estate plan or other financial arrangement.

The Gift Planning Stewardship Intern can create their own schedule and write thank you notes from anywhere on campus. A weekly email check-in is required to provide an update on progress, as well as a monthly in-person check-in to drop-off completed notes and pick-up new assignments.
