DIN: Cash Operation Worker (S9612B)
Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
The Cash Operation Worker will be expected to take orders, run a cash register, brew coffee, cook using a grill, fryer and panini press and stock coolers, rotating product. Cleaning at the end of the shift includes sweeping, mopping and busing tables. Students are also asked to prepare condiments and prep ingredients including chopping and slicing vegetables, etc. Positions are available in the Den.

Qualifications, Requirements, and Responsibilities
Required Education: Bates Student Experience: This student will undergo knife and sanitation training.
Desired Experience: Service such as wait staff or short order cooking.
Reports to: Coordinates/works closely with Den Supervisor and staff, other Dining Staff, other student workers, students, staff, faculty and external customers.
Environment: Small work space and fast paced periods.
Physical requirements: This student must be able to work in a hot environment and multi-task. Machines & Equipment used: Knives, cooking utensils, fryalator, grill, panini press, dish machine, coffee brewers, and register.
