
AESOP trips encourage authenticity, connection
The Class of 2030, the third largest in Bates history, gathered to kick off AESOP on Friday, Aug. 28 — the day after move-in day.
Students will work with other Bates students and Facility Services staff, shoveling snow from walkways, entries, stairs and ramps around the campus.
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to: Shoveling snow from walkways, entries, stairs and ramps around the campus. Spreading salt on sidewalks and stairs. Scraping ice.
None required.
Reports to the Grounds Manager. Works closely with other Bates Students and Facility Services staff.
Willingness to work outside, under minimal supervision. Willingness to work mornings and evenings as necessary. All tools, equipment and training will be provided.
