COVID-19

Symptomatic Testing

Students who have symptoms of COVID-19 can call or email Health Services to set up an appointment with a nurse. Health Services nurses will assess your symptoms and provide testing and treatment as clinically indicated. This may include testing for illnesses such as COVID-19, influenza, strep, and mono etc. While you are sick, you should wear your mask, limit your contacts, practice social distancing and good hand hygiene. Avoid spending time around others and remain in your room as much as possible.

If You Test Positive for COVID-19

If you test positive for COVID-19, take the following steps:

  • If it was an at-home test, email healthservices@bates.edu with documentation of your positive test.
