BAC: Arts Social Media Coordinator

The Arts Social Media Coordinator strategizes for, creates content, posts and manages Bates Arts Collaborative’s social media presence. The Arts Social Media Coordinator will lead BAC’s efforts “to elevate the arts on campus and in our community, to advocate the importance of experiencing and bringing the arts into our daily lives, and to celebrate the artistic achievements of our students, faculty and local community.” This person will build partnerships and co-create social media content with other arts groups on campus and the greater arts community. They will promote IMPACT 21st, the Winter Arts Festival and other BAC sponsored programs.

BAC Marketing & Promotions Associate for the Arts

The Bates Arts Collaborative Committee is looking for a student who will support the marketing and promotion of arts events and programs to the campus community. Assist with the creation, organization, and execution of information about arts events and create a monthly newsletter to share with the Bates community; organize and maintain a marketing schedule; create and manage social media content and assist in curating BAC’s Instagram and website; and contribute to BAC’s mission to “elevate the arts on campus and in our community, to advocate the importance of experiencing and bringing the arts into our daily lives, and to celebrate the artistic achievements of our students, faculty and local community.”

BAC: Winter Arts Festival Organizers

The Bates Arts Collaborative Committee is looking for four students who will coordinate and execute a student-led Winter Arts Festival. Students applying should have experience in one or more of the following areas in arts event management: curatorial, communications, overseeing financial and managerial functions, working with selected members of BAC, and/or stage managing. Duties include: pre-planning, curating the program of events, collaborating with a student-team, the Winter Arts Festival set-up and strike/cleanup, and other duties as assigned.
