Student Employment Office

The Student Academic Support Center (SASC) seeks students interested in working as a Course-Attached Tutor for a variety of courses in mathematics, statistics, programming, natural science, quantitative social science, music theory, introductory politics, and introduction to logic. Course-Attached Tutors are matched for one semester with a specific section of a course to offer support for the students in that section through regular help sessions, individualized appointments, email communications, and meetings with the course instructor. Course-attached tutors may also staff drop-in hours working with students one-on-one or in groups.

The Student Academic Support Center (SASC) seeks students interested in working as a Resource Representative. Resource Representatives greet visitors, guide them to the appropriate resources, schedule appointments, maintain records, and perform clerical work, among other duties.   About SASC: The Student Academic Support Center offers high quality, student-focused peer tutoring and other support services, including workshops, in a welcoming, inclusive environment. We aim to not only provide support, but to complement the classroom experience with a deeply social, collaborative and interactive learning environment that engages students and connects them to their peers.

Tutors staff drop-in hours working with students one-on-one or in groups. In addition, tutors may also work as private tutors who meet regularly with an assigned tutee at mutually convenient times.
