E-Room Staff
Nathaniel Zuckerberg (he/him) ’26 – Manager
What is up, goofy goobers! The stoke is high, the sadness has vacated. It’s my last semester at Bates, and I’m getting ready to roll on out. Between now and then, though, I cannot wait to get you all outside, having a good time, and properly equipped.
Liesl Missbrenner (she/her) ’28 – Manager
My name is Liesl Missbrenner, and I LOVE going outside! I’m currently a sophomore here at Babes college, majoring in how to be reabsorbed into the womb of mother earth, and minoring in religious trauma. In my free time I love going back to my home town of West Chester and hanging out with my dog named Michael/Oliver, communing with trees, and eating organic yogurt. I can most often be found climbing super sick mountains in Colorado and looking absolutely fly while doing it. Stop by the E-Room to hear my Jennifer Coolidge impressions and also check out some awesome gear.
Alita Alvarez (she/her) ’28 – Staff
Name: Alita
Diet: cheese first; then more cheese. Fuel for long days
Habitat: high places. climbs rock like it answers back, counts holds the way others count sheep.
Sporting aim: Telemark skier, in progress; knees bent, heels free, style before speed, always.
Academic species: math major; chem minor
Origin story: Colorado; thin air in the lungs, mountains in the spine.
Known behaviors: frolicking in open fields, backpacking until knees quake, lying flat to let the stars dance.
Distinguishing traits: equal parts mathematical genius and dirtbag (in a classy way) can calculate, then disappear into grass.
Conservation status: Rare sighting, last seen scampering up rock
Hadley Blodgett (she/her) ’26 – Staff
When not buried in work, I’m usually found adventuring in my home state somewhere between the mountains and the ocean. There’s something special about appreciating the sheer size of the world and the others who inhabit the land. In my free time, I sing to rocks, hike in crocs, and can (proudly) ski a box. I’d love to help with your gear needs. You can reach me at hblodgett@bates.edu.
Greta Hendrickson (she/her) ’28 – Staff
Greta hails from the great city of Duluth MN, so she’s a Great-Lake dweller through and through. She was born with skis on both feet and you can find her skiing around campus as she’s 10 times more athletic than you and your mom. Greta’s second favorite hobby is fish. Ice or fly, you name it she’s there. Though she also dabbles in the art of crustaceans in her hair, she thinks it conjoins humanity and nature in a fashionable way. Ultimately, Greta is a fun loving, crab wearing, Great Lake dipping, beast at skiing individual. Come say hi to her in the E-room!
Margot Van Duijnhoven (she/her) ’28 – Staff
Hear ye, hear ye! Gather round, ladies and gentlemen, and adjust your spectacles, for we proudly present Margot of Chevy Chase, Maryland—an intrepid modern woman with the soul of a trail guide and the stamina of a station wagon. Margot may be found gallivanting through the great outdoors, backpack strapped tight, communing with pine trees and the fresh air. Margot enjoys eating Chow Maine noodles from Hannaford’s and watching her favorite show, MomTok. Stop by the E-Room to ask her all your burning questions!!
