SA: Campus Events DJ

Campus Life and Campus Activities & Traditions (CAT) are seeking two individuals to serve as Campus Events DJs. These DJs will be responsible for providing music at CAT and student club events, mostly in the late night setting (from 9:00pm to 2:00am). Attend weekly CAT meetings. Work closely with other CAT members and student club leaders to provide music at late night events. This includes consulting with event planners to understand their vision for an event, creating a set list, and reacting to attendees live at events to create an ideal music experience. Campus Events DJs may also be asked to assist Assistant Managers of Late Night Programming with planning events.

SA: Orientation Week Leader (OWL)

The Orientation Week Leaders (OWL) are responsible for developing and implementing non-required Orientation programs and social events for incoming students. Events and programs are designed to provide incoming students with a wide variety of options to connect with other new students. OWLs will oversee and assist with orientation programs and events. This includes participating in training to prepare for the role, assisting with program logistics and planning, staffing events and the “OWLs Nest” information tables, and on new student “opening day,” assisting at residences halls and other key locations, to welcome new students and their families and loved ones. SA: Mirror Yearbook Coordinator

Mirror Yearbook Coordinators will be responsible for coordinating the 2020 yearbook. This entails outreach to seniors and the Bates community, utilizing the yearbook web platform to organize pictures and text, editing, and other duties as assigned. Students must be on campus during Short Term to be considered for this position. Ideally 1-2 students will be either juniors or seniors.  

SA: Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer for Campus Life is responsible for supporting graphics needs for Campus Life and student clubs. The Graphic Designer will work on an as-needed basis, and will be given assignments by Campus Life staff.
