My primary geological interest is in planetary geology.  In my course AT/GE110 Lunar and Planetary Science, I like to expose students to the idea that geology can be done on all the planets.  I love to promote technical literacy - helping students dig into all kinds of gadgets to see how they work. We might make our own semiconductor devices, or use math and physics to understand the earth, moon, or solar system. Space flight, for example, is a great excuse for studying just about anything!
