EACS S31 : LIMNOLOGY AND PALEOLIMNOLOGY OF MAINE LAKES
In this short term unit, we investigate the present and past environmental conditions of lake basins in Maine. Studies during short term include monitoring thermal and chemical profiles of the water column in lake in central Maine, the Maine coast and lakes in the White Mountains. Long-term history is evaluated through studies of lake sediment recovered in cores.
