Hello Class of 2029 and new transfer students,

We know you’ve been waiting for this! The full schedule for New Student Orientation is available at the First-Year Experience website. Please take some time to review it. Please note that there are three different schedules based on specific circumstances:

First-Year Orientation Schedule

• For first-year students who are not fall athletes

Transfer Student Orientation Schedule

• For transfer students who are not fall athletes

New Student Fall Athlete Orientation Schedule

• For first-year and transfer students who are fall athletes

 Some important dates include:

• Arrival Day – Thursday, August 28, 2025
• First Meeting of your First-Year Seminar and meeting with your pre-major academic advisor – 9:00am to 11:00am  on Friday, August 29
• Transfer Student Group Advising & Lunch – 12:00pm to 1:30pm on Friday, August 29
• Add/Drop Course Schedule Adjustment Period –  Opens at 7:00am on Tuesday, September 2
  • You will have access to your initial course schedule on August 8, and you will not be able to make any changes until add/drop opens on September 2.
• Convocation – Tuesday, September 2, 2025
