Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
Ambassador (formerly Tour Guide) Coordinators are the logistical and managerial leads of the Ambassador/Tour Guide program in the Admission Office, providing direct support to Admission staff, Ambassadors/Tour Guides, and Senior Fellows, in addition to helping shape the future of campus visitor experience in our office. Coordinators are an absolutely integral part of both daily and long-standing visitor operations. Professional development opportunities, abilities to learn more about Admissions work, and continuous training processes will all be available to Coordinators throughout the year.
Successful applicants will be collaborative, enthusiastic, reliable, creative problem-solvers, detail-oriented, organized, efficient, empathetic, and responsible, with the emphasized ability to work independently as needed.
We strongly encourage students of all backgrounds, life experiences, interests, and identities to apply. This is absolutely a role where we celebrate the complexity of the Bates student body at large.
