Celebrating Clayton Spencer Telling the Story of the Eighth Bates College President, 2012–2023

I write to thank you for your part in making possible an important achievement for Bates — the successful completion of the Bates Campaign, which concluded officially on June 30, 2022.

I write to share the news that our colleague Eric Foushée has been appointed vice president for college advancement, effective immediately. Eric has served as acting vice president since July 1, succeeding Sarah Pearson ’75, who retired June 30.

I write to share the news that Tracey A. Reeves, associate vice president for research and academic communications at Georgia Institute of Technology, will become vice president for communications and marketing at Bates, effective Sept. 12.
