Campus Alcohol Policy & Booking Guidelines

Any college event taking place on campus where alcohol (beer/wine) is served must be booked through Bobcat Catering, which holds the institution’s liquor license.
  • Definition of a College Event: Any event taking place in an EMS-reservable space

As the liquor license holder, Bobcat Catering (or its designees) must serve all alcohol at sanctioned campus events. BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) is strictly prohibited.

Bobcat Catering may serve alcohol at events where individuals under the age of 21 are present. However, the sale or consumption of alcohol by a minor, serving anyone without proper ID, or serving anyone who appears intoxicated is strictly prohibited.

Any student-led event requesting alcohol service must obtain formal approval from the Campus Life Office and the AVP for DCCE before the reservation can be processed.
