The Fall Semester Abroad Program is open to all Bates students. We are seeking individuals with intellectual curiosity about the community, a desire to work hard to learn the language, a tolerance for and embrace of difference and ambiguity, and the ability to learn about and engage with new cultural contexts. December 6, 2021 – Early application deadline. Applications submitted by this deadline will have a decision by early January February 10, 2022 by 11:59PM – Deadline to apply for the Bates in China FSA, as well as for 2022-2023 off-campus study registration

Bates College names Stacey Bunting as director of athletics

Bunting comes to Bates from Princeton University, where she is senior associate director of athletics for external relations. With more than two decades of leadership experience in collegiate athletics, Bunting has a track record of strategic innovation, stakeholder engagement, and championing student-athlete success.
