Carl Sprinchorn: Points of View, on view on the museum’s upper level, chronicles the life and work of under-recognized modern artist Carl Sprinchorn (1887-1971).On the museum’s lower level, Rooted and Rising: Introducing the Permanent Collection traces the story of collecting at Bates, from its origins to expansion and continued growth.
