The Bates College Museum of Art will now be closed on both Sundays and Mondays. Additionally, we will continue to close at 5PM every day that we are open, unless otherwise posted for events.
Opening Reception: Phyllis Graber Jensen and The Oath
Join us for the opening of our summer exhibitions. Phyllis Graber Jensen: Picture Stories, on view on the museum’s upper level, chronicles the accomplished photographic work of Bates’ very own, Phyllis Graber Jensen. On the museum’s lower level, a large-scale screen dance, The Oath, interrogates the human impulse to move in unison.
