The North Star (1943 movie)

The North Star (also known as Armored Attack) is a 1943 war film starring Anne Baxter, Dana Andrews, Walter Huston, and Walter Brennan distributed by RKO Radio Pictures. The music was written by Aaron Copland, the lyrics by Ira Gershwin, and the cinematography by James Wong Howe. The film covers the resistance of Ukrainian villagers through use of guerrilla tactics against the Germans and was pro-Soviet propaganda until it was repackaged years later.
