ADV: Annual Giving Office Intern (S9985A)

Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities

The Annual Giving Office Intern assists with a variety of clerical tasks and acts as an ambassador for Annual Giving and Advancement on campus and with alumni. This student must have experience with clerical work. They must also have experience with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, etc). This student must also be comfortable with soliciting gifts via text or via video. This is a great opportunity for students who would like to connect with alumni, learn more about advancement and want to be a part of an engaged team that supports the college. Video production and editing skills are a plus.

Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
Filing and photocopying
Data entry
Answering and completing phone calls
Assisting with organization projects
Assisting with bulk mailings
Assisting with text solicitations
Participating in video projects and other creative projects
Stewardship note card writing during busy seasons

Open to all students (freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors) Experience with Microsoft Office required Experience with video production and editing a plus

Reporting


This position reports to Sarah Tiedemann, Office of Annual Giving and does not have supervisory responsibilities. This position works closely with all members of the Annual Giving team.
