Summary, Scope, and Responsibilities
This student will perform general tasks for the orchestra.
The Orchestra Assistant must have knowledge of music, transposition, part copying, and orchestral literature. It is preferred that they be a member of the orchestra.
Specific responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Setting up and cleaning up stage for rehearsals
- Copying
- Transposing musical parts
- Filing music
