Dedicated in 1984 as a repository for the papers of Maine Governor, U.S. Senator, presidential candidate, and Secretary of State Edmund Muskie ’36, the building holds one of the largest collections of papers of a non-presidential U.S. political figure. The Edmund S. Muskie Archives and Special Collections Library provides for the acquisition and preservation of materials that document the history and experience of the College.
Upstairs hosts a large event space with built-in computer, projector, screen and comfy furniture. The room holds approximately 120 people.
