The Center for Global Education at Bates College manages the partnerships for off-campus study / study abroad for Bates students. This includes semester and academic year study abroad and visiting student programs. We have an extensive approved programs list that is reviewed by a faculty committee regularly. We do not seek out new partnerships unless there is academic or student interest related to a program or institution.

For summer study abroad opportunities, we do not have a set approved programs list. Summer study abroad is not a popular activity amongst Bates students at this time so we work with this small population individually.
