Welcome to BatesConnect, a new online platform that offers learning tools to K-12 teachers in the Lewiston-Auburn area. BatesConnect features presentations, short videos, educational modules, and other learning tools across a range of disciplines, created by Bates students in the context of their coursework, and designed specifically for local elementary, middle school, or high school students. L-A area teachers are welcome to peruse the offerings and select which tool(s) they wish to incorporate into their curriculum.
BatesConnect is administered by the Harward Center for Community Partnerships at Bates. It officially launches in fall 2020, and will initially feature only learning tools that can be shared digitally. In the future, however, we plan to broaden our resource offerings to include in-person options like presentations and performances. If you are a teacher and are interested in partnering with us to have Bates students create content specifically for one of your classes, please contact us.
