This event features three panelists with expertise in art education: Kate Cargile, artist and award-winning Art Teacher, Lewiston Middle School; Sara Torres Vega, Education Research Assistant, MoMA; and Wendy Woon, The Edward John Noble Foundation Deputy Director for Education. The panel discussion is inspired by Torres’s essay, “Dahlov Ipcar: An Experiment in Art and Life”, will be featured in the forthcoming catalogue complementing the exhibition, Dahlov Ipcar: Blue Moons & Menageries., and which details the art education provided Ipcar by her parents, William and Marguerite Zorach, themselves highly regarded Modern artists.
A reception follows in the museum.
The public is welcome to the panel discussion and reception free of charge.
