Fall 2023 Orientation

This year, Campus Life and the BCSG Funding & Activities Board are taking a new approach to club orientation. Our aim is to make every in-person session inclusive, interactive, and fun by leveraging the capabilities of Bates Engage to deliver important information on policies and procedures in an online format. This will also allow club leaders to return to the information to review it at any point in the academic year.

Please note failure to complete the below requirements may result in your club being put on probation. You may find more information about what probation entails here.

Online Modules

All club leaders are required to complete the online club orientation modules on Bates Engage by Wednesday, October 4. You may access the modules here. You may also find them by logging into Bates Engage on a web browser. Then on the left sidebar, select “My Activity,” and then “My Checklists.”

Completion of the modules will take approximately 3 hours total. We recommend you pace yourself, and do approximately one checklist per day.

In-Person Sessions

All club leaders are required to attend at least three of the below in-person sessions. We recommend you strategize with your fellow club leaders to ensure your club is represented at all of the sessions. If you receive an error message when trying to access the below links, please login to engage.bates.edu first, and try again.
