Class of 1933

Ronny Melcher Toomey lives at a retirement home in Manchester, Conn., and plays golf and croquet in the summer. In the winter and early spring (tax time, that is), she works at the senior center doing tax counseling for the elderly. Last fall, Ronny enjoyed accepting the posthumous Manchester Sports Hall of Fame honor for Chick ’35 (see 1935 notes). It was an especially fun evening, she said, since the hall also honored the town’s first Little League teams, which meant that her sons David, who’d played on one of the teams, and Jack and their families attended too.
