Joanie Reddick and her sister, Annie Reddick ’02 live in San Francisco…. Christopher Rhodes left the U.S. at the end of March 2002 to join the Peace Corps in the Republic of Georgia. He teaches English in an elementary school in Rustavi, an industrial city where all of the factories are closed. He uses 20-year-old textbooks and has no heating or electricity in his classroom. The food is amazing, he says, and everything is washed down with homemade vodka. He’s learning to speak Georgian and likes the reward of seeing kids learning English, as well as sharing teaching methods with the Georgian teachers….
