Student Spaces on Campus
There are a number of spaces that have been identified as places for students to gather that may be used for individual or small group studying, a student group event or meeting, or for a private meeting such as interviews or counseling. Please use the expandable menus below to peruse available spaces. Some spaces are reservable, while others are open to all students on a first-come, first served basis and are therefore non-reservable.
Reservable spaces for BCSG-recognized clubs and other student organizations outside of academic use can be requested via the Event Management System (EMS). If your group does not appear in the Event Management System, please contact Brenda Pelletier in DCCE for assistance. Brenda can be reached via email at bpelleti@bates.edu or by phone at 207.786.6400.
Campus Life staff members are here to work with you on programs and events. Please reach out to campuslife@bates.edu or any one of us directly for assistance with programming an event, program, meetings, etc., including thinking through which spaces might lend themselves best to your vision or goals.
