Club Orientations & Workshops

Fall 2025 Orientation

Club Leader Orientation consists of: 1) online modules, which provide updates and basic information on important policies, procedures, and resources for clubs and leaders, and 2) in-person sessions, which are interactive and designed to engage critical thinking around important issues, as well as networking with other club leaders. Check out the offerings for Fall 2025 club orientation below!

Please note failure to complete the below requirements may result in your club being put on probation. You may find more information about what probation entails here.

Online Checklists

All club leaders are required to complete the online club orientation checklists.

There are separate checklists for new club leaders and returning club leaders.

You may also find these checklists by logging into Bates Engage on a web browser. Then on the left sidebar, select “My Activity,” and then “My Checklists.”

Completion of the checklist will take approximately 3 hours total for new leaders, and 1 hour total for returning leaders. We recommend you pace yourself, and do approximately one section per day.

In-Person Sessions

All new club leaders are required to attend at least three of the below in-person sessions, and all returning club leaders are required to attend at least two. We recommend you strategize with your fellow club leaders to ensure your club is represented at all of the sessions.
