Beverly Dennison Shea writes: “Retirement is even more fun that we envisioned! Travel is our favorite recreation, with birding, which we can do anywhere, running a close second. Rheumatoid arthritis was a bit limiting for a while, but Humira is wonderful stuff, so we’re back to hiking, biking, and cross country skiing!”… Donald Gochberg writes: “I retired from Michigan State Univ. as professor of English on July 1, 2004. To keep busy I have gone back to theater and just completed a run as Arnold in 1000 Clowns at the Riverwalk Theater in Lansing, Mich.”… Ruth Haskins Bass writes: “Spent 12 days in Switzerland this year – best part in Ticino canton – then a week in Greece and a week in Paris, seeing all those things we learned about from Bobby Berkelman and Cultch.”… David Wyllie has published Kendadh and the Moving Star (Xlibris, 2002). The novel takes place a few hundred years in the future in the Kingdom of Alban where Kendadh is an orphan. The book follows the adventures of Kendadh as he makes a quest for the legendary Winged Isle along with mysterious travelers from the sky. Retired from middle school teaching, David enjoys adventure writing these days, as well as oil painting, piano, cooking, gardening, hiking, and travel.
