Prof. Dearborn Leads Whale Skeleton Recovery on Sheep Island

dearborn_mugProf. Don Dearborn lead a team of students and local helpers in a mission to recover a nearly complete skeleton of a humpback whale named “Harmonic” from Sheep Island for relocation to a museum on Grand Manan Island. Dearborn, who spent the summer as interim director of the Bowdoin College field station lab on Kent Island, was interviewed by CBC radio about the recovery project.
