A community of large wood-frame houses, the Frye Street Neighborhood sits at the base of Mount David and includes unique features such as Theme Houses, the Frye Street Union, the WRBC-FM radio station, and the Ronj – a student-run coffeehouse. Students looking for a residential experience where the Bates College campus and the town of Lewiston are one need look no further than Frye Street.

Located right next to the Ronj so you can grab a cup of coffee for those late night study sessions, Frye features great green space to lounge outside during warmer months and an excellent lounge to cozy up in during the colder ones. There is no carpeting. All rooms without built-in closets are equipped with free-standing wardrobes. Frye House is only open to first years.
